    • I did use Soy before. I think I just used whatever was at the grocery store, can’t remember the name. I’m taking several other supplements. Soy didn’t work for me, but I did ovulate with it 🙂 Good luck!

  2. My partner and I have only just recently started trying for a baby and I thought I’d start a blog just to record what we go through (so thought I’d have a bit of a read of other pregnancy blogs). We conceived fairly quickly, but were told last week that they believe we have miscarried. Just reading what you’ve been through and my heart goes out to you. I can’t begin to imagine what you’ve been through and how you have coped. But I’m so happy to read that you’re carrying a healthy bubs now. I will definitely be following your story 🙂

  3. Lisa,
I didn’t even know you were pregnant! You probably have no idea who I am, (birdie01) but just wanted to say I’m super excited for! Congratulations! You so deserve this!

    xxx

  4. Wow! That’s awesome I was told I needed a surrogate from dr. SHER as well. He said my husband and I are an exact HLA dq alpha match and that it’s probably impossible for us to conceive a child…. I am in Las Vegas. Any suggestions?

    • There are a couple other doctors you can see for a second opinion. If there’s any way you can travel to Illinois, Dr. Kwak-Kim is the best. We traveled out of state to see her, and it was totally worth it. There’s also The Beer Center in California. There’s hope for you!

  5. Thanks for your encouraging blog. Aside from being followed by Dr. Kwak-Kim, did you see a RE or regular OBGYN until you had a positive pregnancy test? My appointment with Dr. Kwak-Kim is in 2 weeks and my OBGYN is not supportive.

    • I worked with an RE who went along with Dr. Kwak Kim’s treatment. I had to find one who would because most do not believe in her testing and diagnosis. I’m so glad we were able to work it out because it was the key to our success! I hope it works out for you too! Good luck!!

  6. I am a new follower. Congrats on your baby! That is great after such a road you’ve been on. I am looking at autoimmune treatment with prednisone for an FET soon. Our RE says he uses it short term (5 days) and I’m curious how long you took the prednisone for?? Thank you!

  7. Hi Lisa. I just found your blog. I have alloimmune issues and just did my intralipids yesterday. You mentioned that part of your protocol from Dr. Kwak-Kim is to do IVIG, but I can’t find a post if you’ve done it. Did you do IVIG every cycle you have tried to get pregnant after seeing Dr. Kwak-Kim? Thank you.
